Technically it's possible. Under the cosmetics, the longer USDM Fit front end has more in common with the Fit Aria/City than the JDM Fit. I know a few US people have inquired about such a front end swap on their Fits.

The only challenge would be finding one

in the US (at least in southern california) the yaris sedan and corolla outnumber the yaris hatch and matrix on a 10:1 ratio. that leaves me to believe that there's space for a Fit Aria/Sedan in the US. but like p nut mentioned above, i'd get a civic if i wanted a sedan -- unless the Fit Aria/Sedan were competitively priced against the yaris
