What countries get the Fit Sedan?
What countries get the Fit Sedan?
My girlfriend, in China last month for the olympics, just showed me pics of a Fit she saw while in Bejing.. But it's a SEDAN! I tried to do a search and didn't come up with much; was wondering if any other country besides China got Fit Sedans/saloons.
I'll post that pic once I get the camera back from my GF.

), the badge says Fit, but that doesn't mean the owner didn't just grab a JDM badge on throw it on there.
The wheels are Enkei GF1 in 16X7 42offset. They're four lug. If you're lookin' for those, I'm not sure Enkei makes them anymore, and if they do, they won't be in white; I had stripped them and powdercoated them that color.
The interesting quirk about the sedan versions of the Jazz/Fit is that they're usually released in other countries (usually the ASEAN region) before they're released in Japan.
e.g. The GD6-9 City was produced in Thailand in 2003 for export to other ASEAN nations (Singapore, the Philippines, Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand, Brunei, etc) before Japan got theirs badged as the "Fit Aria."
The GE Fits/Jazzes have a sedan counterpart as well. The new City however no longer shares the GE chassis code. Instead it's stamped "GM" - specifically the GM1 and GM2. The same "lag" between ASEAN and Japan for the City/Fit Aria still exists---the GM-series cars aren't even out in Japan yet, and we don't know if they will still keep the "Fit Aria" name over there.

Here's the GM1 City mildly dressed up with Modulo grille and OE Honda 16" wheels. These wheels came stock on the K20A-powered ES Civics sold here in 2005, I'm not sure what they're called specifically but they fit perfectly for both GDs and GEs.

I don't think the Fit sedan would do that well. Toyota sells the Yaris HB and sedan in Canada and the ratio on the roads is like 20:1. One of the big attractions in subcompact is the extra room in the HB. I would rather buy a Corolla than a Yaris sedan, and a Civic rather than Fit sedan.
