Range

Anyone want to admit to running out of gas in their Fit yet? It seems to me that the fuel gauge is wildly conservative, but I was curious as to how much so. What range is everyone getting?

370 to the fuel light. 430 to below E. I haven't dared to push it any farther than that. And BTW, I drive it to the fuel light on every tank, I figure thats what they put it there for.

i had my fuel light come on at 470 miles, drove it to 520 miles, and when i filled up it turned out i had over a gallon left, so i could have gone to about 570 miles.

The farthest I've gone was 400 miles, and still could have gone another 30~40 miles going 70 somewhere in Illinois/Nebraska.

It's the truth, i cruised at 55mph from san diego to santa barbara and back.

I drive 100% city and I'm at 150mi at the halfway point. I usually manage anywhere from 290-330 miles before gaslight comes on

I'm with trancedsalior 150-160-miles at half tank 290-300 till low gas light.I bet you guys that are getting 450-500 miles a tank are riding all down hill. !!!

300-350... depending on how many days it's driven in town. Most of the time thats to the gas light or close to that.

mee too im at 145 halfway now with the fujita cai

... i get about 260 at the gas light.. i was much better stock air box with k&n drop in though
