I've owned 153 vehicles ranging from Metro to Superbird. Current menagerie includes 4 cars and a truck.
I replaced the 89 Metro xFi we used for gofer with a Fit Sport auto. The Metro averaged 49.6 mpg for 198,655 miles before we sold it and ran less than 9c per mile to own, gas, all maintenance and repairs, insurance, purchae, the works. Top mpg was 66 mpg on interstate at 55 and lowest was 36 mpg in snow.Metro hauled eight race tires 40 cinderblock, TV's, all manner of race car parts, and general runarount. Also 'raced' around Charlotte and couple of other speedways, racetracks. just not fast.
If the Fit turns out to be half as good I'll be very happy.
This ones an automatic tho cause I need to pretend to be Michael, and I'm getting old. And my significant others all want an auto when I leave. It is fully sorted out and acquits itself very well at VIR. It has a hard time breaking 3 minutes on the old course but it drives very well doing it. The paddles do yield better mpg than auto because I shift at lower rpm than the auto does. The Fit though is a superb daily gofer car, just as Honda intended. I dio wish they'd made third gear about 1.3 :1 instead of 1.067:1 so I could shift up easier.
I have a more poweful 'family car' that also has paddles too and the gears are more correct to quick times. On the hiway it gets mpg equal to the Fit, probaly because of the CVT, but not in town.
The end of my vehicles line now is a 91 CRX SiR which prowls around VIR faster than most sedans, mine included. Pass Corvettes out of Oak Tree and it takes til near the end of back straight to pass me and then they get run down on the turns til they get away on the front straight for good.
The others are trucks and a Civic HX's (40 + mpg)

If you're talking about my old car, the picture was taken before tint and JDM Red/Clear taillights. I miss it, but it was just too damn loud and uncomfortable. Rattles everywhere!
