05 Dodge Neon SRT-4 Stage 3(5MT)

I just sold the SRT-4 (one fast mother) and picked up something more practical for my family.

09 Honda Fit Sport (AT in SSM)

I'm not looking to mod for speed since doing a K20 swap and everything wouldn't touch the Stage 3 kit I had.

I'd like to do some mugen stuff but it's so damn expensive. I definately plan to do tint and armrest. I might do the mugen exhaust but I'd like something much quieter like stock.

Were you ever on MPF?

Slam it and get some hot rims. Do the tint and no need for anything Mugen. JMO, lots of people here like Mugen out the butt, but not me...I think if you can drop the stance, change the rims, add some little touches like armrest, and tint, you've got a start on some pretty great mods..

Oh, and you need to change out that meep-meep roadrunner horn! You can put in an Accord horn and it costs like $15 or something.

Nah, I didn't really start getting into modding until my 2.2L in my truck.

I think I'll probably stick with the tint and armrest for now. I would like to get the red badges as well. I've painted headlights before in my previous cars so i'm familiar with the oven technique. This will also be a great opportunity to put in that accord horn.

Just traded in my 2004 Dodge Neon SXT for a vivid blue pearl 2008 Honda Fit Sport (the blue is almost the same color as on my Neon), but I had a 2000 Kia Sephia before that.

My first car ever was a '87 Mazda RX-7 Turbo. I was in high school, and everyone was a damned racer... so I had to get in on the craze. Unfortunately (or maybe fortunately?) I didn't have the cash flow to support the habit, so I sold it.

I've been driving a '94 Lexus ES300 ever since. This car is in such terrible cosmetic condition, dents, broken windows, door doesn't open, lights inside don't work, etc... and it has 201000 miles.

But damn does it still run fantastically. But it was time for a change. So I picked up a '09 CBP Fit Sport.

I'll miss the Lexus!

I just traded my 2003 Honda Element EX AWD for a 2008 VBP Fit Sport two days ago. Just need some interior accessories and I'll be happy.

Previousness

Before my 2009 AT Sport (CBP) I was driving:

1st Car: 1983/84 Toyota Celica - Engine died @ 183K, had some weird overheating issue that no one could figure out. Hand me down. Bought it from my Parents for around $550 (the cost to get it running). Sunk another $300 or so into it before I was told I needed a new engine. Oi...

2nd Car: 1985 Mercedes 300D, Desert Maroon 230K+ mi (now sits in my Dad's garage). He gave me an extended loan on this car when my Celica blew (also, I put some money into it to do my part). This car will always be my first love; I still miss it. I don't think it runs--it needs a new vacuum hose/pump/something (ha!) and a new battery as well. Would probably go to 350K if fixed (thing was built like a tank). Someday I'll fix it, and mod it so it runs on veggie oil/biodiesel, someday... Wikipedia says that 75% of these cars (after 20+ years) are still on the road.

3rd Car: 2006 Chrysler PT Cruiser, Black. Ugh, got this car because my dad worked there and gave me a sweet lease deal. Just graduated college so I was low on fundage. Was actually a pretty faithful car for the 2+ years I had it. MPG sucked, however. I do miss it's transformer-like interior (you could take out the back seats). Great for moves, just so-so otherwise. Apparently it's a death trap and a repair nightmare. Luckily, I never had to deal with either.

4th Car: My fit. Love it.

-P

Chevy Celebrity aka "Lucy" - hand-me-down from my dad and she surprisingly lasted 15 years before the tranny completely busted and it was not worth it to replace. After that, I drove around in my dad's '02 CRV and sometimes the Pontiac Wave (yuck) they had on lease while I saved up to buy my own car. When I had the chance, I drove my brother's '07 Fit LX AT, which lead me to buy the '09 Fit

1997 Ford Thunderbird. Cat went out so I just welded in a straightpipe. Emission notice came in the mail and I decided it was time for a new car. Best damn car ever. I absued it so hard yet it still got me to work everyday. Once I drove it on a lake in the winter...

Judging by your plates (The miata seems like an illinois plate) it looks like you left Illinois to go to california? How could you leave us to go live with the yuppies? I know the snow sucks and all, but...

Let's see, from my first car in high school to the present, in order:
  • 1972 Toyota Corona (it was held together with bumper stickers)
  • 19?? Chevy Impala (don't remember what year it was; ugly mustard-yellow--we called it the mustardmobile)
  • 1976 Toyota Celica
  • 1985 Toyota Tercel (my first new car)
  • 1986 Mazda B2000 Truck
  • 198? Mazda 323
  • 1990 Ford Escort
  • 1991 Dodge Caravan
  • 1993 Plymouth Acclaim
  • 1997 Dodge Neon
  • 2000 Honda CR-V
  • 2005 Honda Element
  • 2009 Honda Fit
I may have forgotten a few in the middle somewhere. Some of those were when I was married, and we had 2 vehicles. Of all of them, I have loved my 3 Hondas the most!

i used to drive a teal 93 jeep cherokee. what a difference going from a truck with terrible suspension to the fit. (to to mention the money i save with gas)
i had the jeep for almost 4 years. and put 7 buck into it mechanically. that was for a valve cover gasket.
