Total mileage on your Fit?
Total mileage on your Fit?
OK, I know this has come up a lot of times. Is there any one "official" thread for people to put up their total mileage? If so, I really apologize. I wish we had a sticky thread for this.
My Fit hit 50,000 miles this past weekend. It's an '07 Sport automatic.
Bought new in March of '07.
Still just like new. Only normal maintenance has been performed.
OEM Dunlop tires lasted about 36,000 miles if I remember correctly.
The only repair was when the squirrels ate my wires while the car was only 2 weeks old. The only mods are Zeta dead pedal and bug deflector, and a Honda OEM cargo net / bag.
The car is still very tight and pretty much perfect. Best car I ever had.
I expect to still have a good car in another 2 1/2 years when it's paid for.

not me... mine's still like 8.5K or something.
made a deal with myself that i would keep the FitS for 5yrs or 50k miles
whichever comes first. i rarely drive my cars over 30K before sold.

Edited my post with correct link also.
Bought her last November and already have almost 22k miles. I've noticed since about 20k my gas mileage has been improving, which leads me to believe that she's just getting broken in.
Or it could also have to do with the cooler weather we've been having around here as of late.

Aww, Cat, how can anyone get mad at you? Now quit typin' and get to drivin'!

Well, the good news is that your car won't even be broken in when it's 5 years old! And with all that Mugen stuff, just sitting in the garage looking pretty. Shame, shame.
Especially since West Virginia has all those nice mountain roads!Off the subject, kinda: What kind of autumn are y'all having? Sometimes on Bridge Day, the leaves are gorgeous
, and sometimes they're just brown
. Plenty of rain makes for a colorful fall. Either way, in my old age, I am through jumping off NRGB. Might get up there as a photographer again, though.
