Low Mileage Fits
We have a high mileage thread, so why not the opposite?
I'm sure there are plenty of us below the 50k-75k-100k, right? What has kept your mileage so low? Have there been any issues from sitting? Why haven't you driven the car more?
To start- My '08 Sport 5MT SSM DD is at 59.5k. The PO was a software engineer and hardly drove the car prior to selling it, which was great for keeping the miles down. Since I bought it, the car needed tires (set #3 in it's life), front brakes (set #2), strut mounts, a shift knob and a good detail. I AM driving the car much more frequently than he had, just under 2k miles in the past month, and the GD has been great!

I'm sure that car thief is checking this thread
07 Fit with 70500 miles, clean inside, plenty of dings and scratches outside (I live in a nice neighborhood, you know)
The dealership rejected my credit application (discrimination based on the low income, how unfair) but offered a lease of demo car which no one wanted to buy (black with dark tinted windows) in hot August. After lease I bought it out. Leasing the car gives you certain mileage limits, plus I have restricted license so I am making about 8k per year.

I wonder if I may have a record here. I have a Black 2007 Honda Fit Sport, bought new from the dealer in Sep/2006. It has 20,200 miles on it.
I live and work in NYC and have no use for the car as far as employment is concerned and it is mainly an around town car for errands on weekends, and the occasional "fun" drive around the tri-state area.
Absolutely love the car and have had very few problems with it. A few dings and scratches over the years (city life), a vandalized rear light, and an issue with the air conditioning at one point. No engine or other mechanical issues though. I plan to keep this car as long as I can... possibly a "Lifer".

My parents bought a 2007 Sport AT when they first came out in 2006. It just crossed the 10k mile mark this week. Hard to believe it is ten years old. My mom barely drove it, using it only for driving around San Francisco. Less than 500 miles were racked up on the highway(s).
All maintenance issues have been addressed, though I am still puzzled by the rather low mpg's (approx. 21 mpg). This could be due to SF's hilly terrain and numerous stop signs, etc. New tires are the next item on the list.
It's nice to be able to come down here (I live in PDX) and have a car available for use, especially since it will fit in the tightest of parking spaces - which can be difficult to find in SF.
There are a few scratches on the body. I'd love to get these repaired.
When my dad passes on, I will be the owner of two Fits!

hehe I can't compare with those amazing numbers above, but I love my 2008 MT with 90k miles. Bought it from original owner last summer, us it mainly for hwy to get to my girlfriend's, love the 43 mpg I get on the hwy *with winter tires*, looking forward to seeing what mileage I'll get with summers, love the little car. Starter is starting to go, I'm going to replace it myself, love how everything is so accessible for diy.

Terrible Mileage on new 2017 Fit!
I bought my 2017 Honda Fit CVT in Fed of this year and since have had mileage issues. I am getting 24 mpg city 26 combined and lucky if I get 35 on highway. Only have about 2,000 miles on it so far not driving too much because of back issues. I have taken into dealer 3 times and they have found issues each time and then when they give back they say it was tested and they got 33 mpg combined which is what they were looking for. Well then I drive again for full tank and I once again get around 26 combined. Am getting really frustrated and very unhappy with this Fit!

I guess manuals will be dropped along the way side, much like turn signals have in the evolutionary process*.
(*at least here in the States.)
