Hi! I'm new to the site... in fact, I'm in the process of buying a Honda Jazz 1.5 CVT or MT.

When I called Honda Cars Kalookan, they told me that it is difficult to get a Jazz 1.5 liter because Honda Philippines isn't supplying enough. Is this true? I really want the 1.5 and I don't want to settle for the 1.3S model.

 

patience is the key i believe that they are holding back on the jazz/fit since they want to sell their city/fit aria units.

with that said, it took me a grand total of one day to wait for my nighthawk black jazz 1.5cvt. i got mine at honda marikina. basically try to ask provincial dealers as they may still have in storage the unit your looking for as not many people buy the jazz out of town anyhow

 

Thanks Sleeper! I called Honda Cars Marikina and they told me that a new shipment will come this December. I had my name listed and as soon as they receive the report, they'll inform me.

Sadly though, I can only get the manual (due to budget issues) but I'll be happy with that. We already have an automatic in the family.

AFAIK wala pa may ari nun...yun sa akin hopefully this week ko makukuha since available na its either

silverstone metallic or viviblue...ano color vote niyo? hehe :P

I'm for silverstone metallic and nighthawk black (my wife likes the same colors as well), kaya lang black is not allowed (company sharing kasi ang arrangement for the purchase). So if silverstone metallic isn't available, blue will do. - I just don't dig the pink.

I don't really know which dealer has the best offer. Better, look around to be sure. I didn't check with Shaw if they did have the nighthawk black but I think you can try calling them. I'm still for the silverstone though...

thanks for your repply. I just got my silverstone m/t vtec today at honda cars makati. After 3 mos. of waiting i finally drive home my new toy. maybe you could ask honda cars makati to check if they still have the same unit as mine.

 

Damn! We really wanted the silverstone but only the nighthawk black was available. Anyway, I saw the actual unit from Honda Cars Quezon Ave and it was beautiful (although I think the color is much more difficult to maintain than the silver). The unit will be delivered tomorrow and I feel great right now.

 

wow didnt know that the honda jazz had a line fo the 1.5 model. How bout the 1.3 variant is it readily available?

 

The 1.3 variant (CVT) is more easily delivered. The dealer told me that production has stopped for the manual tranmission 1.3 and 1.5. Thus, very few are coming in. But for 1.5 CVT, only 60 units are released by Honda Philippines per month.
