sorry to hear that!

dealerships will not/do not cover windshield damage (including rock chips or cracks). my friend had her new tsx windshield cracked by a rock, and the dealership said it is not covered by warranty, nor would they pay for the damage. sorry!

My insurance covers all windshield damage, no deductable... if i get a rock chip they will send a repair person over to my house and fix it in my drive way. I've even had a windshield replacement done in my drive way... not on my fit though! No rock chips yet *knock on wood*

Check with your insurance provider if you haven't already. I have statefarm and they have a 0 deductible windshield repair.

Sorry to hear about your misfortune. The dealership will not likely cover the repair, however, most insurance companies will with no deductable or penalty involved!

Check with your insurance company. The repair is often done "on-site" where your car is parked!
