I am short (at 5') and I have NO visibility issues with the Fit that I did with my '03 Accord.

Oh yeah, I don't dare get to close to an '09 (or even consider driving one) or I may just make a purchase myself. I am particularly vulnerable to that cronic illness "new car fever"!

Love your license tag!

One thing no one has touched on is the windshield. While it looks slick, it looks like you could get a sunstroke from it.

Looked at a silver sport at the local dealership, I agree that it looked better in person than the photos.

What I found really interesting was a used black '08 sport that was priced higher than the '09!!!!!

I love it too! Hubby says "it's embarrassing," which is good b/c it means he won't drive it! Worth the extra $$$ for that! I thought about several but this was the one I settled on. We can only have 6 letters here, so that limited my choices, and I was afraid that FRK would not be read as "freak," but I think there isn't much else that can be read into it.

FITS ME

MY FIT

GO FIT

were some of my other thoughts...I'm glad it says "TEXAS" right above the FIT FRK. Texas Fit Freak is me!

That's right, and you can't tint it legally. I think you can use it as a solar oven, though, so it's dual purpose that way. Ought to make Al Bore happy.

Added: You know, it just struck me about a comment on the previous page - that the huge quarter window in the front looks cartoonish or animated...I think the whole car is cartoonish. It's like an anime come to life. I think the designers liked their animations of the Fit so much that they made it real...and it still looks like a drawing...like someone else here said, like a Barbie car or something.

How do you think I cook my eggs in the morning?? The multi-purpose windows allow me to sleep in a few more minutes.

I'm hoping to get "CLWNCR" vanity plates as soon as I get my others in.

By saying the '09 Fits are not that bad, isn't this "damning with faint praise?"
My wife and I own an '09 OR AT and could not be happier with it -- especially with the ride. As for the color, we both concur that it stands out in a landscape of generically pedestrian vehicles....

Yes, you could call it damning with faint praise! But I had no praise at all for the '09 before I saw it in person, so it's an improvement. Glad you love your Fit, I sure love mine! And if I had to buy an '09, I think it would be Orange Revolution! Great color choice. You can't be missed.

i haven't seen any OR's, but if i'm not mistaken, the GE does not come in VBP, as i did see one and parked my VBP close to it and the color was VERY different. it was nice, a little more upscale and not so 'anime' looking, like a metallic looking royal blue pearl from the civic. but i still love my vbp.

No, the 2009 color is called Blue Sensation Pearl, and it's darker than the '07 and '08 color.

I can't remember the 09 medium blue color's name but I think it's sweet. It's very soothing to the eyes and might hide scratches better than BBP!

There are 2 blue colors - Tidewater Blue Metallic, and Blue Sensation Pearl. The Tidewater is a light blue, and the BSP is the royal blue.

Juliane, is you a FIT FRK? I guess you is.
I'm a TGHT FIT, myself. Have to be careful not to park near the sissy bar, lest anyone get the wrong idea.
