Top Dog

Now that the Fit is finally here, I want to see a comparison between Fit and the rest of the bunch: Yaris, Kia Rio, Aveo, Accent, Scion xA....am I missing anything else? Interesting that Fit has 109 HP, I thought it would be less. I guess it does have the CVT transmission. I noted in some photos that the shift gate only has P R N D S. Anyway, with a comparison like that, it will be fairly clear who will be the top dog. Also interesting that (to me) Honda seems to think that Scion will be it's main competitor. Fit will be offering a bunch of dealer installed options, like Scion does. I do like the blue lights on the dash. I think the car would ride OK with the Sport 15" wheels; worse with the 16's. What I think would be really cool would be a sticker for the rear window that says "Yeah, it's got a Hemi". HA I saw that sticker on a Mini. :-)

I'll be looking for the sticker I saw somewhere else in the forum, "I don't need an SUV. I already have big genetalia." That ranks right up there with, "Somewhere in Texas, a village is missing its idiot."

Why no rear disks? Hopefully that is some sort of media-release mistake. Thai Jazzes have rear disks, and these people rarely ever are able to exceed a pace faster than walking, due to the traffic.

No rear disc brakes = saving $$ for Honda. :-(
