Unless they are giving you an aftermarket alarm.for reference check this thread ---> https://www.fitfreak.net/forums/2nd-...s-09-fits.html
Shop around and good luck on your purchase.
I got $18080 $500 off the MSRP at $18580 including destination for my 09 Fit Sport 5MT with Navi/VSA. You can do better, you need to get couples of different quotes from different dealers via the internet through the dealers rep internet sales department and compares prices before you commited on anything and let dealers compete for your money.

As with anything, supply and demand will determine price. If the cars are selling as fast as they come in, why would a dealer discount the car? On the other hand, if a new model is ready to come out, they have a sales goal for the end of the month, something like that where they have a reason to wiggle to move a car right now, you might get a little break. In my area, if Fits even hit the lot without being presold, they may last a day or two before they sell. Not much incentive for a dealer to discount the car. If you don't buy it, someone else will a day later at likely a higher price.
If price were my primary consideration, I'd wait 6 months until the initial wave of demand for the 09s dies down, if it is going to. When inventories rise, there is the greatest chance you'll be in a position to bargain. Right now, as a buyer, your negotiating position is weak. What are you going to do, leave? Big deal, the next guy in the door behind you buys. Now, when there are 10 Fits on the lot, and 5 more en route to the dealer that are not spoken for, then you have some clout. If you don't buy, they might sit on a car for quite a while, and this costs them money. They are more motivated to take a skinnier deal today rather than risk sitting on the car another week, month, whatever.
Doing the internet price thing will probably be less successful on a car like a Fit. I'd guess many dealers may not invest too much time pursuing internet Fit leads when people are buying every car that comes in immediately. By the time you negotiate with an internet price shopper, the car has already sold to someone who walked in on the ground. From a dealer perspective, a customer in the store in person has a much higher statistical probability of ending up as a sale than someone throwing out price quote requests to 20 dealers all over the place. Hence, depending on how bad you need to move the car, you may or may not spend a whole lot of time on the web shopped. Now, if you have a car that is in high supply and low demand, like possibly a Ridgeline or Pilot when gas was expensive, you will aggressively work internet leads because you scratch and claw for every sale you can get on those. Even with an internet shopper, where the statistical close ratio is relatively low, it is worth investing the time since it might be the only chance you have of moving an unpopular unit.
Location matters. If you are living in a city where the primary industry is meth labs with the occasional title loan joint and liquor store thrown in, and a massive Ebola outbreak recently swept through town, your local Honda dealer is likely hurting for business, and will probably make you a good deal as you are one of the three people in town who can qualify for a new car loan. On the other hand, if you live in a city or town where the economy is decent, and there are a number of people with good credit, a job, some spare cash, and the ability to read and write, you'll probably have a tough time getting an aggressive price unless there are 16 Honda dealers within a mile of your home.
I know when I sold Volkswagens in the past, we had the TDI diesel cars which were enormously popular back about 5 years ago. Sold as fast as you could get them, many presold before arrival. You'd have internet people emailing you wanting to negotiate price on these cars while on the physical lot people were practically stabbing each other to get one. Needless to say, you weren't investing your sales time very wisely spending a whole lot of time working internet deals and cutting the price. Heck, we were perpetually out of cars as it was, and someone emailing you saying they were shopping all the area dealers and wanted our lowest price, or they threw out some lowball, these emails got a polite reply but were basically disregarded. You'd get emails like this:
"Hello, I am shopping for blah blah blah diesel Jetta. I am shopping all the local dealers for the lowest price. Consumer Reports shows me that your invoice cost is blah blah blah, and I want to pay $300 below that. In addition, I want a hot pink diesel 5 speed Jetta with the special order caramel color suede seats and the Wombat fur headliner, but with no sunroof, and no steering wheel. If you can meet my price and have the car, contact me by email ONLY from the hours of 2AM to 3:30 AM on the second Tuesday of the month only. I will be only buying at the store who can meet my price and I don't want to haggle, so I will not be accepting phone calls. Email me your low ball price, and I will not pay any additional dealer fees. I want my first 10 oil changes free, as well, or I'll take my business elsewhere"...
Needless to say, these emails got a chuckle as the 3 people on the showroom floor who wanted the only diesel Jetta we had in stock for the next 2 weeks tried to write a check faster than the others...
Exaggerating, of course. The point is that we were very, very willing to haggle on price when the car was easily replaceable on the lot. The few really rare and high-demand models, this was not the case. We never gouged people with added crap on popular cars, but we wouldn't discount them either necessarily.
We couldn't meet demand as it was. I'd imagine a similar situation exists on the Fit. Gas going down to $1.85 here today might somewhat alleviate the demand, but I don't know.
Good luck.

I'm also in the Monterey Bay area, and got the same quote from 3 or 4 dealers in the area.
