I have heard some roumors that the cvt-7 gear box breaks easyli amd that it cannot handle constant pressure. I would like to know if this is correct

I would like to know what sound system does the jazz has. I mean how many watts are the speakers, how much output does the radio amplifier has and what diameter are the speakers.

I have seen a lot of people saying various numbers about the horse power of the car. Does anybody dynoed it or knows for sure how much power it outputs or how much the 0-100 is???

 

c'mon 180 views and nobody has any idea about this subject???

 

Why not go to one of the asian or EU boards that have more experience with both the car and the CVT ?

 

ya, we don't have any experience with the car yet in the U.S.
you would be better off going to a euro based site.

I think most of the info you are looking for is available on the Web. Yes there are rumors that the CVT-7 Tranny breaks easily but I have not heard any concrete proof of this. Most people have problems because the don't change the transmission fluid or use Non Honda transmission fluid which results in noise and vibrations at certain rpms.

The sound system varies by which country your car is sold. I'm not sure about the standard/optional equipment for Cyprus, but in most cases its either a 4 or 6 speaker system. If all else fails remove your door pannels and check your speakers size.

As for the engine, the 1.4L i-DSI is rated at

Audio - Speakers are 6" and the same as the Accord Euro including the holes in the doors. Stock audio power is bugger all as you can tell by the miniscule magnets on the back of the paper cup speakers (magnifying glass may be required).

Engine - We don't have the 1.4 dsi in Australia and it will not be sold in the US either. I understand the 1.3 dsi we have is the same as the 1.4 dsi just a marketing difference. The VTEC Jazz outsells the 1.3L dsi by a very very large factor in the Australian market and of course any enthusiasts choose the VTEC. The 1.5L VTEC does consistent 0-100km/hr 9 sec times. engine power 81kw. Not too many people particularly in Australia would waste dyno time on a stock Jazz so any dyno result seen are for modified cars.

Transmission - 7 speed CVT is fine if you change the fluid and use the right Honda fluid only.

 

For the engine power i found over the web diff pages saying that it outputs from 81-87ps. As from the 0-100. It says that it does it 12.3 (cvt-7) but when i timed it, it was about 11 sec and the engine has less than 10,000km on it. To have max power the engine needs to go more that 10.000 (heard that there is something on the ecu). So the 0-100 will be on the 10sec margin. My jazz has 4 speakers that are very loud (vanity mirror trembles when volume more than 25/40).
The cars audio has aux on but the fuse for aux is covered with plastic.
The max speed on papers is 165 but i went upped to 205 without hitting the rev limiter
the average guel economy ranges from 6.4-6-8. thats good i suppose. One tank (42 liters) about 650km.
The weight of the car is 1111kg and not 1013 indicated.
