JDM LED Mirrors on USDM Car Question

So, if I were to get a set of LED mirrors for a RHD Fit and install them on a LHD Fit, would the viewing angle be all screwed up?

Or are they basically universal and the only thing that is different is the mirror/glass???

Careful, in LHD the driver's side mirror has no scaling, passenger side is convex, thus, objects are closer than they appear. RHD will reverse things for LHD, unless the shape is the same and you can swap the mirrors at the same time.

That would be my guess.

A buddy of mine has JDM CRX power mirrors installed on his CDN CRX. The viewing angle is screwed up. There must be a European LHD version with those mirrors. I'd want heated ones.

Yes ! The view will be screwed. I ordered the RHD mirrors too but I also ordered a pair of Spoon convex mirrors so that I can have proper vision with them.

Couldn't you just re-use your stock mirrors and put them into the JDM ones???

According to the info I got, the mirror lens from the mirror (non-LED) are different from the ones without. I will find out when I receive my LED mirrors.

Yes the LED and non LED mirrors have different shaped mirrors.

The mirrors without the LED signals are on the Left, LED mirror is on the right
