certified used Fit?
certified used Fit?
Hi all! I've been reading the posts here for a while. Love it! I have a question so I decided to offically join and post it to get some feedback.
I will be looking to buy a Fit about one year from now--Feb. or March 2007. My 99 Civic VP will be paid off and it looks like my dad will buy it. I purchased my Civic as a certified used Honda. I had some problems and the awesome warranty that Honda has paid for everything! It's the best around by far.
Come Feb. or March of 2007, do you think certified used Fits will be on dealer lots? Think back to a year after the CR-V, the Pilot and the Odyssey were released. Were there many certified used ones on dealer lots one year of their intial release?
If I can't find any, I will buy new. But from previous experiences--the certified used deal Honda has is one kick-*** bargin.
I am looking forward to what you all think.

No
Not after a year.
It's a relatively inexpensive car that's going to appeal
to demographic groups that will probably hold onto their
cars for a significant amount of time (first time buyers,
limited income buyers, young buyers).
Will there be some available? Sure, why not.
But, alot of the cars that you see are CPO are often models
that are 3 years old or the result of a terminated lease. This
car isn't really in that price range where it makes sense to
procure a lease.
Also, if this car becomes the 'IT' car, then you are further

Although CPO is a great deal, hoping that you'll find one is
not going be that consistent with the reality of finding one.
