hood prop location

I noticed that there appears to be two hood prop holes: One with an arrow and one (for a wide mouth opening) with none. Since there is no arrow on the second hole, was it intended as a hole for the prop or not?

yeah it makes the hood super upright.. ridgelines have 3 positions, but most other hondas with prop rods only have 2

Is it ever hard for you guys to get the white plastic piece out of the hood after you're done servicing the car? I'm all ready to put my hood down but have to wiggle and jiggle the prop out of the hood.

that's normal. Consider it defense against hitting your head. I always use the damn near vertical 90 degree position
