Can you swap K20Z3? I know that Kpro doesn't work on the Z3s. They are quite limited in after market supports, I think. If I choose, I'd go with A2 or K24.

k24 block, k20a2 head. The swap/labor should not exceed $10,000 I'd say. I'd like to do this next year. I hope you do the right thing and finish what you started!

Invest in stock right now, it's the time to buy. JK, Keep the engine stock, do coilover, brake pads, brake lines, rotors, tires, rims (very sticky ones), exhaust.

It's great when you out corner faster more powerful cars and when they ask you what you have under the hood, you say "it's all stock under the hood, I'm just a better driver lol"

Again, the car has t1r bmax 52s, 15x7 rpf1s, and other mods. Also have a set of wrd chevlons 16x7 +24. I think I'm going to finish the interior and the last few exterior pieces and go from there.

Problem with the K20 (a few IMO) is that with it in the car youll NEVER be able to sell it.
Modded Fits do not sell. Fits with lowering springs and wheels dont sell.
I have no idea why? Not sure if anyone has noticed this; I have.

Id to a turbo kit. Thats easy to put back if problems happen. With a whole motor and something happens the car will be down.
The T1R kit, a tune, and maybe 10-11psi youll have plenty of power. Josh is trapping 97mph. Pretty sure the T1R can do the same if not better.

Thomas, I didnt know you had WRD's? Nice.. ditch those RP's.

If I had 6 grand saved up, assuming the vehicle is payed off, I would buy something more practical: a turbo kit. Then I would continue to save the rest of it.

Just my 2 cents.

I have read the PDF document by HA SPORT on the K20 swap. I don't know how current it is but this is NOT a very practical swap. If I understand correctly, you lose your climate controls and instrument cluster! A hacked-in RSX cluster probably won't look very nice and cutting away at the chassis is not attractive either, even if it is only a 2" or so cut.

I dunno, I think I'll just look for a clean eg shell. I just never have any luck finding those anymore. I think I'm just going to throw the j's grill on, roll/pull the fenders, drop it some more, throw the wrd's on it, and do some interior stuff and call it a day.

As for the Kswap in a fit, you do not lose your climate controls, instrument cluster, or anything else for that matter. That is why you have to run the fit ecu along with the k20 ecu.
