Has anyone just made the back seat/trunk into a bed and go on a road tip... lol, because im seriously thinking about it...I want to go too New York to visit some friends.

 

hahaha you have no idea... I used to do that all the time at school, until I took out the back seats.


it has many different names... a.k.a. dirty mode haha

sleeping bag + pillow = bed! haha

 

I can just see this thread degenerating into a discussion of the licit and illicit romantic liaisons which have been perpetrated in that huge rear storage area. I have nothing to contribute, since my wife doesn't let me do things like that.

 

ive slept in m car for an hour or so in "relax mode" dont see why with a blanket and pillow couldnt be an all nighter

I've done it several times at college when I had several hours between classes. I'm 6'5" so I had to push the passengers seat foward and lay diaganally, but it worked!

 

Heck yeah. The only problem was waking up from being cold. Then I had to run the engine for a while to warm up the car. Then back to sleep. Why not put all that space to good use?

Dude, I just finished a road trip from Vallejo, CA to Biloxi, MS 3 days ago. All I had to do was re-organize my stuff so I can put it in dirty mode. I stopped at a rest area and thought that I'd just take a nap for a few minutes but it turned into almost 2 hours. I was somewhere between Tucson and El Paso. Just don't make it into a hotel room for the night, not really a good idea.

 

Yea i have heard bad things come from staying at rest stops, lol

 

lately all my cars ive owned have been virgins. hahaha.

i would take a plane and just get a hotel.

 

SO DO ITTT. its more then enough room & plus all u need is a few hours of rest..!!! just bring a blanket incase it gets alil hrd for youuu...
