Bad News - Decreased Fit Production

I do agree that prices will come down, but it will take longer than 2 weeks. Maybe by the end of Summer prices will be nicely discounted.

Some dealers will disount from the start (maybe not too much though).

I am thinking $15k for the Sport including destination (if I can get over the sills) would get my attention. I am in no hurry - every month I wait is a month with no car payment.

I think it'll depend on location. Mav's probably right, if you're talking about markets like Texas and the Deep South and such. In Cali and the Northeast, however, the Fit is probably going to be pretty popular. If any of y'all out there are Wall Street Journal subscribers, you might want to check out their special section on Autos today. There's an artrticle in there about how red-staters prefer SUVs and blue-staters hybrids and other economical cars - should make for interesting reading.
