The "feeding frenzy" is even getting to me, who learned how to drive 43 years ago on a brand new VW Beetle.

Yesterday on northbound I-680 in Concord California, I saw what I think was a load of Fits (mostly Lunar Mist color) heading south; I couldn't turn around & follow it to get a longer look, but some Asian cars come in six miles north of there at the Port of Benecia (SF Bay area). Anybody know if Honda uses Benecia as a port, or do they come in at Long Beach like my wife's Prius did?

Don't know much about Honda specifically, but I would think that they would use multiple ports of entry, just to hedge their bets, but that their main port of entry (like everyone else's) is LB. My dad is in the furniture import business, and the company he works for had some headaches during the longshoremen's strike at LB a couple years back. It could well be possible that what you saw was coming from SF.

Not that I really believed him, but my local dealer contact just called me to say they'd be arriving in 3-5 days. From Cali, that means they'd be departing today or tomorrow.
