Steeldog is because I have spent my whole adult life as a steel fabricator. I live around Birmingham, and there is also a local arena-football team called the Steeldogs. This is due to the fact that Birmingham grew out of the iron ore that's naturally present here. The steel mills sprang up, and Birmingham developed because of the jobs in the steel mills.
Nowadays, Birmingham is more of a medical town than a steel town. You can't swing a dead cat around here without hitting a doctor. Or a Steeldog.

Mine's work related. I run the engine room on a 3000 hp boat that moves barges on the Illinois river. River people are commonly called river rats, since I'm the king of the bilges, BilgeRat seemed like a natural!

The gold-coated MSN-00100 Hyaku Shiki is one of the mobile suits from "Mobile Suit Zeta Gundam" of 1985. "Hyaku shiki" is literally Japanese for "type-100."
