I drove a Vivid Blue Fit Sport MT. The acceleration was OK: I got on the freeway with the AC on. It was a bit peppier in city driving than I expected, but I didn't push it. I am more interested in safety and good MPG anyway. The steering was responsive and the brakes were excellent. It was much roomier than I expected and I love the "magic seats". I think I will want the cargo tray for the back (boot) area. I was prepared to bare bones it and get a base model, but after driving the Sport I may decide to pony up the extra $$$. I am sticking (sorry for the pun) with the MT however. The dealer has a list of ATs coming in almost all Sports.

 

blue manual sport? urg. thats the one im after.

 

I liked the blue, but am thinking of going white for the "dirty factor" (i would NEVER buy black) and I think I would want the beige interior.

 

I just got the call from my dealer saying that my Black on Black Sport MT has finally arrived. He said its gonna take about 3 hours to take off all the papers and covers from the factory and inspect everything to make sure everything is in working order. I will be signing all the paperwork tomorrow so I should be driving home tomorrow morning with my new Fit.
