Talking Fit Lands in Albuquerque!!!!

So...there I am making my weekly call to the dealer today to see if they have an ETA for me (I made my deposit on March 11 and got my VIN earlier this month) and MY Storm Silver/Base/AT had been unloaded yesterday!!!!

Got to sit in it to be sure I could reach the pedals and see over the steering wheel (I'm only 4' 10" ) and it will be the PERFECT replacement for my '84 Honda wagon with plenty of room for my 75# dog to go cruisin' with me! And with the driver's seat pushed back (and not even all the way back), there would have been plenty of room for my late 6' 2" hubby to drive comfortably with LOTS of headroom.

Price out the door: MSRP + State tax ($442.47) + State title & reg fees ($48.00)+ dealer transfer charge ($189.50).

Will be picking it up on Wednesday afternoon (due to my schedule, not the dealer) and will take pics as soon as I can tear myself away from driving it and taking all my friends for a ride.

PS: It's not nearly as boxy as the "official" pictures look and the Storm Silver is an absolutely scrumptious metallic pewter to my eyes.

More later.....

I was much more impressed by the storm silver color in person, than what is shown in either the official pictures or the brochure. It's brighter, and not nearly as flat looking as the photos show.

Agreed. I'd still like to see the red in person, but I was definitely impressed by the silver. It's top of the list currently.

I know this is a question that shouldn't be asked of a woman, so I will attempt to phrase it somewhat rhetorically: At only 4'10", who weighs more, you or your dog? Please make sure he/she is in the photos,

I, too, was blown away by how gorgeous the color actually is. In the official pics and the brochure, it looks a lot darker. Very, very classy!!!

Hey...I wouldn't have been offended if you asked it straight out! I top Poochini by 20-25 lbs on a good day, but when she stands on her hind legs to give me a "hug", she's about as tall as I am

Will try to get her in the pics, but for some strange reason she absolutely cringes when I point a camera at her (she was a rescue dog, so I don't know what may have happened to her before I got her that was camera-related.)
