Help!

My Fit (Storm Silver m/t Sport) is coming in this week (psyched = YES) and I need a roof rack solution for carrying kayaks...

1) anyone know of a rack system that Fits/works for the Fit
2) anyone tried using the Thule system specified for the Jazz from the UK
3) any word on factory racks -- do they have them in Europe/Japan?
4) any other ideas?

I had the same question but have not been able to come up with a definite answer. It seems likley that that the Jazz stuff will fit the Fit, but thus far no one seems to know for sure.

 

And they said they were getting a lot of calls for Thule system for Fit and that they were working on it.

 

I'm still waiting for pictures of this...

 

In the UK Honda sell a roof rack for the Jazz - but it ain't cheap.

Problem is that the recomended maximum load on any roof rack on the Jazz is very ;ow - only about 80lb from memory (can't find brochure at the moment)

 

I have a Yakima Rack that I am going to try and put onto the Fit. I will let you know how it goes.
