They also mentioned ageing boomers in the article, so maybe we aren't all metro funky.

The copy editor who worked on this article should be fired.

I like how they retagged Gen Y to make them sound cool. Makes me giggle. They're anything but non-conformists. With the huge amount of hatchbacks coming out, everyone will have some flavor of one.

I guess I typed this is a bit of a way that could have been read offensively... I am sorry.. I feel that the artilce is written in poor taste and is in not the best form. It makes it seem as if the car is more for a certain type of person and not all of us....
