Pinstripes on a Fit = Blech.

I'm going to wait until I can factory order later in the year, I don't want a car that they've had time to molest.
I saw the pinstripes on two sports at a dealer after I bought my car and I didn't care for it. I thought it made the car look cheap, but maybe it was just that particular dealer that did a lousy job on pinstriping.

I got my Black Sport MT for $15,495, ($225 under MSRP) including destination charge.

The dealership made an error in the original paperwork that we both signed, and wrote the price as $15,270 instead of $15,720. When they caught the error midway through, they apologized and tried to put the price back at MSRP. I told them to meet me in the middle of their error, and luckily they went with it. They also picked up the title and license transfer fee of $80.

I have seen one other in Smyrna - an orange one - think it was the second to last one that Reddell had in stock...

Been looking for others, but I'm kind of enjoying having one of the few in the area
We have seen two in two days now, a base sliver-grey one I was behind at a red light in downtown, and the Mrs. saw one yesterday in Donelson (orange). She liked the color....

My friend is getting a Sport automatic from Crest, MSRP, no extra charges either.

For fun, price the car in Europe. I just for fun checked Honda's Netherlands website, about EU20,000 for the car there, and then road taxes, cars are expensive there anyhow. But you can get yellow and a metallic olive green color too!

i suppose taxes in every state are different so that may be one reason... it just seems like way too much for something 'less' of a civic.

Put my down payment today, have to wait for transport to have it delivered to the dealer.

$15,970 + 6% sales tax + $550 destination & handling + $250 plates & registration = $17,728.20 (no b/s options like I want)

Owned. In the Bay Area there is more than one dealer that will offer MSRP at most. Sorry, mang.

Shop around peeps and avoid mark-ups or unwanted dealer add-ons. Dealers will tell you stories, you can do the same. If you have time order it instead, that should assure you of MSRP.

Is there no negotiating room? Maybe a full tank of gas, 1/2 price on floor mats? A shop service manual?
