I'd like to buy a bike carrier for my 2007 Fit Sport--preferably a carrier that straps to the outside of the rear hatch door. Thule, Yakima, and SportRack are the three carrier manufacturers that come to mind; their paper and online catalogs, however, indicate that their strap carriers are *not* compatible with the 2007 Sport. Apparently, however, their strap carriers *are* compatible with the newer versions of the Sport. Can anyone confirm this? What is it that is unique about the 2007 Sport that would prevent a strap carrier? Does anyone know of another manufacturer whose strap carrier is compatible with the 2007 Sport?

My only other alternative is to go with a hitch carrier, but that requires buying and installing a hitch--a permanent and more expensive change that I was hoping to avoid.
