Thinking of buying a 2009 or 2010 Fit Sport and noticed that the ONLY choice of interior materials for 2009 is black.

My current car has a black interior and I hate it, esp. here in Florida where it soaks up the heat. Any chance this might change for the 2010 model?

You can always get grey seat covers to match the pillars/headliner.

 

In my experience most cars under 20k only come in one interior color.

 

well, its only in black if you want the sport model.

you can get a lighter grey/beige interior if you get a base. dunno if the extras are worth the heat to you.

 

Point of fact, the gray interior of the base Fit is a very dark shade of gray, so I'm not sure there's much to choose there.

My complaint about the upholstery isn't heat build up, but lint. I swear that Honda used the same fabric they use to make lint brushes for the seats.

 

Buy a used '07 Fit. You can find those with tan or light grey interior, I believe.

 

A few steps:

1)Tint your windows.

3)get really nice seatcovers in whatever light color you like.

4) consider re-covering your interior fabric. i've seen some very nice examples of this on here.
