Ooh, that's that one that attaches via a screw through the cupholder, I think. Dunno how good it is...

There is another post somewhere on fitfreak about this and one person had purchased this and loved it--super high quality he said. I believe that they were in the UK or Europe but I assume the one sold on our shores will fit the USDM version.
Plus it's marked down to $139 now!

 

Thanks for the lead on the arm rest. I have cargo cover, mats, etc coming.
The armrest will be my next big treat but I want to make sure it looks good and works well.

 

I should have mine in a couple of weeks. I'll post reports when I get it and have it installed.

No it's not.

The factory Honda armrest replaces the entire centre console.

These aftermarket armrest either screw directly into the cup holder or attatch some other way

 

I noticed that the factory armrest is offered as an option on the Fit in Mexico ( http://www.honda.com.mx/honda2006/index.html ).

Is it possible to order the parts required thru a Honda dealer in the USA? I see that College Hill Honda has imported accessories, but they all appear to be from the UK, not Mexico.

 

I don't think I would be paying the $159 for it... I'll pass until I see it for much cheaper..

In the UK you can buy the armrest from Honda but it is nearly £200 ($350). However look at this on ebay from Germany - http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ARMREST-CONSOL...QQcmdZViewItem

They say they will post worldwide - may cost a bit but then £17 is less than $30.
