Fit is in new Gran Turismo for the PSP

As the title states, I've bought two different Fits (really Jazz I suppose....)

There's the 01 version which puts out 84 HP, not that thrilling, and there's the Spoon Fit that's a little more entertaining to drive. I really wasn't expecting any Fits or Jazzes when I bought this game.....

Except for a lack of being able to buy stuff for your car (turbo's, exhaust ect.) and not being able to buy any car you want. (Every "game day" brings 4 new dealers you can buy from. So today you might have toyota, RUF, Audi and Ford. After you complete a race or two in the game, the dealerships reset and let you pick from four new sets of cars. Some dealerships might be up there for a few days, but that's because there's just a huge selection for that dealership, honda, mazda and Toyota included)

Besides those two little problems, it's 39.99 well spent. I got it through the PSN marketplace so that I don't have to run it off of the UMD drive. Much quieter, loads quicker, less battery drain and I didn't have to pay tax!!

Yup, I went and snagged all the Spoon Sports cars on the first chance. I really wish the challenge mode was more like GT5: Prolouge with real races and time attacks, not this license test crap from all the other GT games. I hated the license tests the most. I would use GameShark just to skip them.

Aw, you can't modify the cars in the game? Bummer, that was my favorite part of the other GT games.

But they do have some pretty awesome cars. I dropped a million in-game credits for this Mazda concept car from last year that drives like a Daytona Ptotype. And it comes with a Ferrari formula one car....w00t!!

You can modify most of the production cars pretty minimally. There are suspension adjustments that you can make such as ride height, toe-in/out, dampers and ect... However it does not look like horse power or vehicle weight can be adjusted.

I haven't yet played with the set-up on the Spoon Fit. I did however buy the Veyron, freaking cool!! I still want both Formula one cars, and a few random cars here and there.

A) it's a psp, they have to cut some corners where they can because they have a little less than what a ps2 is capable of to work with
B) that game is just GT4 updated a bit and slimmed down to fit on a psp, i think it's amazing that they can do all that on a psp and i applaud them!

I treat Gran Turismo as an arcade racer, though it tries to be a simulation racer.

After Playing GTR 2, I feel there is no other racing game on the market today that deserves the title simulation more than this game. It's so realistic.

They could have cut down the number of cars to 500-600 if it would allow them space to include more upgrades and parts, and better game play. I guess we have to wait for the PS3 one in March.

Or... If you have an Xbox just get Forza 3! Out on October 27th, they have a GE8 in that game, but no GD3 which makes me sad.

There's a Euro-spec and japan-spec 01 Fit. (really just a different name, no performance upgrade between the two)
