5 cars you might as well buy new

Yup, WRX and Sti both... Interesting bunch... And no Toyota sedans...

Interesting for sure but I still think a lot of people go used because of other issues.I see a lot of younger buyers not having the best credit so they can not get the low financing rates offered.I bought my Fit new (2012) mainly because I just prefer to buy my bikes and cars new but I'm not against buying used.

Edmunds e-mail this, funny thing is they list the Honda Fit under sedan and in 2012 the Civic was under $20k winner this year over $20k winner. I do not know how the Ford Focus got the under $20k winner.

Honorable Mention: Tie (BMW 3 Series, Honda Crosstour, Chrysler 300)
Crosstour??? what are they smoking down there? Crosstour depreciation is among the worse. $40K new and trade-in value is $18K after 3 years

Is a $40k crosstour REALLY worth only $18k after 3 years? A normal depreciation amount is about 1/3 gone after 3 years and it's extremely rare for a car to lose more than half its value that quickly. (In the US). If you could point me to a decent condition $18k Crosstour, I might buy it
But I think more realistically, despite it being a stoopid car, it probably holds its value pretty well, in the same way that used Corollas are absurdly overpriced.
