OK to go slightly past 5k before 1st maintenance?

My fit is at 4,870 miles or so and I need to go to Oakland today but that means I might get to 5,020 or a bit more (5,100 at MOST,) miles before I can get it in to be serviced... is this ok? Or should I cancel my trip?

TIA!

***EDIT*** Sorry guys, I just searched for that info and found what I was looking for I think. Most people say to wait until 5k miles, 15% oil, and/or when the wrench indicator comes on. Not sure what my oil % is at but I think I should be fine... I'll just drive it light until I get it in. If anyone has another opinion though I'll listen

First oil change for my GE happened at 9757miles...which is today. @10% oil life.

Went to M1 silver cap.

Check your remaining oil life (read your owner's manual) and stop worrying. I did my first service at 10,000 miles, when the oil life hit 20%. A few hundred miles one way or the other won't matter.

Man that is awesome... so much cheaper than doing it every 3-5k. Love this car!
