My dad broke my Fit

So he was traveling 500+ miles away to see his dad so I told him to take my car and I would drive his truck.

On his way back he ran over a semis mud flap with the metal bar still attached so it smacked under the car he pulled over and check to make sure it didn't take out the oil pan it didn't so he came home. We checked today and the pipe were it goes into the cat is dented and has a hole.

It will be at the muffler shop on Monday...I guess borrowing my car didn't really save him money.

Thats what my dad said. LOL

I don't know how much it cost yet....but when my dad and a family friend have had pieces cut out and placed back in it was usually around $120.00

Bad thing is I am not mad at all....everytime that car has gone down to Oklahoma it has been driven over stuff that couldn't be avoided it just happened to be him that broke something and not me.

It was only $45 dollars at a local shop to put in a new piece. Then that wasn't even what was making the noise. I cross brace(don't know exactly what to call it) underneath the frame was bent and under acceration the cat vibrates and would rub on the bent metal...its fixed now/
