just picked this up today can somone tell me if im gonna have to cut anything on the car to get this thing to fit right if i just put it under the car it looks like it will go right up but the flang is way huge, and the hangers and all out of wack as well if thay just re-mount the hangers on the muffler it self will it mount fine with out having to mess with the hangers on the car?

oh well, might want to try reading the EP3 exhaust thread below if you havent already. looking at the hangars though i think you might be able to squeeze them in.

Take it to a muffler shop and have them weld it in place of your stock muffler with new hangers...

Do what dagul said. Just take it to a shop, tell them you want it a new flange installed so itll bolt on to your car.
Make sure you mention you want a new flange as theyll cut yours off the OEM muffler.

And make sure they position it right. You dont want the tips sticking out too far or the muffler hanging too low.

yea thats what i planed on doing, should i tell them to make sure its up as high as thay can get it ? becouse i was under the car to see how it would fit. you know it has the same bends and same length and all just a bigger pipe and the flang is HUGE. it still seems like it will hang to low even has high as i could push it up till the muffler it self hit the hangers on the car but ill have to see what thay can do.

Just have them make it level and it will fit perfectly, but they will have to modify the hangers to do that. And it is impossible for it to stick out too far. You will hit the bumper with the can before that will happen. And make sure that they do not use the flange from your stock muffler!

lol yea im not going to have them hack my muffler i only have like 1500 miles on the car just incase i have to take my car in for somthing i can put the stock one back on so thay dont void my warranty, and will thay have to cut the hangers that are on the car it self? or just the ones on the ep3 muffler. i really dont want them to cut the hangers on the car so i will not be able to hang the stock one back up

I only say that because I didn't specify and they took the flange from my stock muffler and then overcharged me, but that is another story for another day. The hangers on the car are perfect the way they are. They will end up making the hangers on the can shorter. It can be as simple as heating and bending the original hangers or more difficult by replacing them with new ones.
