Circle on Front Bumper

What is the small circle on the front bumper for? It's only on the right side. As far as I can tell, it has no purpose. It's on all the Fits I've seen.

It is for the tow hook. Due to the large bumper and lower ground clearence Honda put an access panel there, open up your trunk, look in the spare tire kit and you should see a tow hook. Remove access panel insert tow hook, tow vehicle up onto flat bed tow truck. Now the actual times you will have to due that are probably slim to none. It is a Honda after all

Towing aside, it gives you something to anchor down the front of your kayak onto.

Damn, never knew that. I asked my dealer at the time of purchase what that was for, they said. "Ummm it's for the service guys to hook the computer up." Seemed odd to me at the time. I thought, must have to do with manufacturing.

Are you kidding me? I sell Hondas for a living and I would never pull an answer like that out of my ass. Why in the world would they say that? It is in the onwers manual for godsakes. I new about it because the S2000 has it and people kept asking, I opened up the owners manual and read about it.
I cant believe they fed you a line like that. How sad...

My dealer told me that's where you plug the car in at night to keep the engine block warm.

It seems most high-end cars have those pop-outs. Look at BMW, Acura, etc, etc, etc,......

And did you guys check out the tow hook under the rear bumper?
