Navi Map Auto Mode Does Not Work

2010 Honda Fit Sport/Navi

In Setup, for the map display, there is Day, Night and Auto.
It is in Auto mode but it does not work.
In Day mode the background is yellow.
In Night mode the background is black.
In Auto mode, with the headlights on at night, the background is yellow instead of black.

Have you checked the brightness dial/odometer reset on your dash? If it is set all the way to the brightness then the Navi will not change to night mode when the lights go on.

Auto mode

NAV auto mode in my car works as well as Day Light Saving Time. It adjusted one hour for me.

Thanks, that worked!

That is just so when your headlights are on when it is raining in the day time, you can have the navi screen in day mode by turning the knob clockwise a bit.

The trouble is that they did not document it in the manual!
