Hi, everyone. Glad to be here. Looks like a good forum. Bought a new Honda Fit today (base model; automatic transmission). I think I got a good deal, but would like to see what other folks paid for their Fits. The listed MSRP was $16,410, but I negotiated with the dealer down to $15,750, and got $4,000 for my Honda Civic (2005 VP 4D sedan with a dent on the roof thanks to an incident involving a garage door; originally, the dealer offered $3,200, but I got them to go up to $4,000). I also got a dealer loan at 4.74% (originally, they asked for 4.9%, but after they saw my bank had pre-approved me for 4.74%, they had no choice but to match the rate). What does everyone think about all this? Be honest! Thanks.
