but one time i helped someone jump their van ans he was like is that a prius? that kinda ticked me...


i gave one of my friends brothers a ride somewhere and when he got in he like "dude! nice honda civic fit man!!!" i looked at him and just laughed for minutes

then again, another friend was talking about getting an si for graduation then an si hatchback parked by where we were sitting and i told him to get one of those, and he was like "a honda fit si!"

 

my wife calls it a mini toyota sienna.

i have to admit the GE does have resemblance to the sienna, especially the front.

lucky i get more compliments than negatives. But it does tick me off when people call the fit a matrix or prius...

 

a 'friend' of mine calls the Fit the gayest, ugliest car in the world and doesn't understand why I want one......then again he says that about:

the guy was riding shot gun in some older lincoln that had some terrible chrome rims (I wouldn't be surprised if my Volks cost more then those pieces of shit) The topper of all that was he then turned to his friend and say "smoke him" and they took off when the light turned green, lol.

The good thing is that is really the only negative comment I have gotten, to my face atleast. when I go to local car meets I get a lot of people liking it.

I have an '08 and an '09 Fit and the '09 does look more like a roller skate. But, I would take that term as a compliment. You have to start worrying about the names when they call them "buckets" , "anchors", "weights", "anvils", etc. Roller skates are "swift".

 

One time, a woman who had been in a meeting I had to go to walked out of the building when the meeting was over and said "Who's got the little Flintstones car?" and started laughing.

I got a friend that continuously calls my GE a go-cart every time he refers to it lol...

most the time I just laugh at him knowing how much more gas/money I save compared to his 2000 Malibu with 400,000+ km, exhaust leak, and worn out shocks/struts hahaha

 

My brother in law and also a neighbor calls my car a go kart too.
