Yeah gotta LOVE the mpgs!

Why is it so hard to get the right make? Calling the Fit a Prius, Aveo (which is revolting in my opinion), and....ummm a Pinto (just weird) shows that those people don't even know vehicle basics! Stuff like that just makes me angry!

I in no way think a Fit is a "fag car". I don't know about yall, but my little Fit got some balls on it. Yesterday I was zipping through traffic and that engine was getting me away from all the crazies!

About the station wagon thing: anyone see "National Lampoon's Vacation" and the 'family truckster' in it? Every time I hear station wagon, thats what I think of. Maybe I do need to change the way I think of station wagons lol.

My mother-in-law told me my husband's aunt said that it was ugly. I simply replied to the mother-in-law "Then she doesn't get to ride in it."

I had a Volvo wagon for awhile and it totally changed my thinking about station wagons.... You would be surprised at how well a 72 Cadillac Combination Hearse/Ambulance drives and handles.... They don't carry a heavy load very well with the stock springs but drivers get out of your way, treat you with respect and people will pay to have you decorate it for 40th birthday parties and park it in front of the place of the party.

I just remembered that a while back I ended up calling my Fit a "faggot" after cutting my arm in the rear wheel well.

Oh yeah, I was giving the driver rear tire a reach around right before I got up. The Fit didn't like it though, so it fought back.

My Fit likes it when he gets a reach around... It's a strange little car. You wouldn't believe the cut on my arm I got trying to remove the exhaust manifold..

I don't know if most of the Fit readers know about the history of the name "Fit", but originally when the car was to be marketed in Europe, Honda was going to call it by another name, "Fitta", but, someone informed them, before the blunder, that the name they were going to use meant "vagina" in Nordic... not that that's a "bad" name, but certainly different.

But, imagine what all commentors would say when they saw us driving our Fits down the road...

"Here comes that little vagina, again!!!"

Come to think of it. I might like my car to have the emblem changed from "Fit" to "Fitta". I'm going to start looking for the letters "t" and "a" to complete the change.

Let them call it whatever they want, that doesn't bother me nearly as bad as ugly old mangy ass redneck owned dogs that wander up and piss all over all of my tires.

"THAT is a great looking car!" from a guy who just got out of his blue Honda CR-V and was checking out my 2010 Orange Fit Sport.

I think she should have told him "It's A HONDA, not a Toyota..."
