2 inch hitch for the Fit?

Does anyone offer a 2 inch class 3 hitch for the Fit? There's a 4 bike platform rack that I really want but it's only available for 2 inch recievers.

I looked for a long time for the same reason as you. None available.
The only 4 bike 1-1/4 hitch racks are the kind that hold the bike by the top tube.
There are 2" to 1 1/4 adapters but I'm not sure I would recommend it. Platform racks already stick out farther than other racks and the added leverage of the adapter would put a lot of stress on the light duty Fit hitch.
I'm going to put together a bike trailer so I can carry 5 bikes/dudes without having to use a roof rack.

I've looked all over as well and found nothing. It's all just as well. I've decided that four bikes hanging off the back of my Fit is not what I want. A two bike platform rack is more than enough and if I need to carry more bikes I can put them inside the car. It would be nice if someone offered a Class II one-and-a-quarter inch rack for extra tongue load. Everyone just offers Class I racks for the fit.

A Class II hitch can handle up to 3500lb's.... therefore, there will not be one for the Fit Fit isn't even rated to handle max load of a Class I hitch (2000lbs)

What is stupid is that these moronic companies design products that don't need to be designed for Class II hitches when they don't need to be. The reason of course is that most hitches on peoples vehicles are in fact Class II.

As for running a 2" hitch adapter on a Class I hitch... you can do it (I have one), but realize that it cuts the weight load rating of the hitch in 1/2. Again, still alot more then you need to carry 4 bicycles.

It does fit.

This is on a 2019 sport with a 2in receiver. I was also confused but the guy said it didn’t need any cutting, it just Fit 😜. I used to have an ex and that did require cutting, very little though. He also said only use this for a bike rack because this car probably can’t handle much weight. My car is also lowered and have to be careful with speed bumps because it will hit on the rebound. And 2 more pics for your pleasure.
