Floor mats

Which ones have the spiked bottoms? The fabric, all-weather, both, or none?

The spikes I describe as molded from the rubber back of the mat, about 1/2" long and 1/2" apart covering the entire bottom of the floor mat.

I have the Honda fabric ones and they do not have the rubber spikes on them. I don't know about the all weather ones. The fabric ones, however, have a mounting system so that they don't move around.

Dougie is right on ! I've got the all weather's and have seen the carpet ones too. The all weathers cover more and have a goo retention lip as well.

I'm going to hang tight and wait for the 3rd-party suppliers to catch up. I'd prefer a rear mat that goes all the way across and I suspect that the 3rd-party ones will be less $$$. For now, I'm being cheap and going with the $10 set I got from Wal-Mart.

That's cheap? I'm going with the dealer provided "complementary floormats".

Wrong, my official Honda Fit all weather rubber floormats have rubber nubs/spikes on the bottom. They are along the majority of the back and are more than enough to hold my mats in place.

I 2nd that for the mud matts. They have small spikes on the back and clips to hold them on. The neat thing about these mats is the clutch will not be obstructed from touching the floor When using oem matts. This problem is a big reason why some folks have clutch problems.

Helpfull tip: go to a fabric and foam shop they may have material you can use. I bought a piece of what looks like Black carpet that this shop sells to truck owners ( matrials slide easy on it) for under 6 dollers. I cut a perfect piece to put in the back. I have enough material left to cut a piece for the seats if I like.
