Sport vs LX models pros and cons

Hi All,

I have an order in for an LX but have a longish wait as I want manual.

As an option I can get a sport model sooner. Any comments for or against? Seems to me a lot of $ for trim+alloy wheels+ sound upgrade...

allocation?

I went for a Red LX MT over base so I could get air, but the Sport was temping for the alloys and remote etc, but I also couldn't justify the extra $$. I'm still waiting for my LX (been 5 weeks now). I would have gone further for the sport, but I'd rather spend the cash on something else like a home theatre or other house stuff. I'm actually hoping it won't arrive until July for the tax saving.

Odd that you would get a Sport sooner then a LX, since they are making more LX tims then Sport trims.

I think the Fit Sport is worth the extra money.

Everything from the Fit Sport can be easily added to the Fit LX except for cruise control.

for only $2000 more you get alloy wheels, a much better stereo, a immbloizer alarm, a full ground effects kit, and if you get the auto, F1 style paddle shifters

i dunno how you could not get the sport, its a ton more stuff

im not sure about the canadian models, but the difference on the USDM models is only $1,320. not bad for 15" Alloys, Keyless Entry/alarm,full body kit, Spoiler. Fog Lights, cruise control, Alpine cd/mp3 deck with front component speakers and aux input.....IMO Sport is The only way to go

Ever wonder why the LX is only available in Canada?
Happy with mine, looks the same from the driver's seat. Only way I would
get a Sport is if it had a diff. engine.

By the way, Joe is me. LOL

Definitely worth that extra money ($1,320 USD) for the extras that comes with the sport, that if you buy separately would cost way more. But if you're planning on doing mods/swaps/strips, i say go with the LX.

Difference in Canada is approx $1800 USD plus tax, pushing an after tax price of $21k USD.

The DX is only offered in Canada since the AC-less DX would bomb badly in the US
