Fit Computer

Does anyone know how to access the Fit's onboard computer? Or what equipment is needed? I'd like to check the computer and "black box".

Thx,
Shneor

a bud dy just got his TSX Hondata today and it was night and day he didnt make that much on peak power but he gain a grip on mid range but after looking over the afr charts it didnt look like it was perfect so even with a hondata tune i would also get a vafc to fine tune the car

the whole point of hondata is fine tuning, its not just an eprom you drop in and call it a day. VAFC is just a map signal manipulator with a limited range of adjustment.

hondata for the tsx and for alot of cars that are current are pretty much a flash, a base flash pretty much they say a car gots and CAI, exhaust, test pipe, and a header we got a basic tune for it. if your car is like a rsx or earlier obd2 cars (civic, integra etc) then there are other option available to "fine to the car" but if the only thing you have is a basic flash you can use a piggyback computer (vafc) to fine tune your car further.

yes a vafc is just a unit that munipulates the fuel maps on your car at certain rpm ranges (i think 16 differant rpm point) it really doesnt change that fuel maps of your car but just trick your car into adding more fuel or taking away fuel.

but yes a flash is a great tool and it does change alot of points in a car (ignition, fuel, vtec engagement) but no 2 cars are ever alike no part are ever the same so there could never be one flash that workd on all cars just one that yeilds a good average.

Are you just wanting to check/clear OBD codes, read sensor values, etc or actually changing things like timing advance and such?
