About to get a Fit, got questions re. price & wheels.

Hi all,

I'm planning to buy a Fit sport auto today to take advantage of the Honda labor day clearance sale w/ 0.9% financing. I had plan of buying a subcompact for months patiently awaiting the fiesta & mazda2 to get here to compare.
But after I saw both of them in person, I feel the Fit still offers the best value.

So I got a quote in the low $16,xxx includes destination. I know the 2011 models are coming in weeks so that makes the 2010 already 1 year old. Do you think that's a still a good deal? I was hoping to get it for $15,xxx but guess that's wishful thinking..

Also if i buy the Fit, I plan on moving downsizing the wheels to 15" enkei pf01 to cut down unsprung weight. I plan on using 195/55 tires instead of the 195/60 tires. Will that ruin the speedo by much and reduce fuel economy, has anyone tried this size.

I only got a few hours to decide so ain't got time for more research, thanks for your help.

I don't know about the car you're looking at but my 2010 base mt in Blue Sensation Pearl was built 6/2010, it arrived at the original dealer on 7/14/10 and I picked it up on 7/19/10

I think 195/55R15's will be a little smaller in diameter than your stockers. Not sure how much of a difference though.
