I have a new Honda FIt, less than 3 weeks old. I am disappointed in how the AM radio sound. It is muddled and anything spoken sounds like the speaker is lisping. The bass and treble adjustments do not fix the problem.
I stopped by an high end audio store and the dealer agreed that the AM does not sound right.
I took it in to the Honda dealer and the service department called saying
they ran an analysis and the radio checks out.

The FM sounds fine. Speech is clear. I tried to search these forums to see if anyone had a similar issue, nothing showed up.

Is anyone experiencing this problem with their Fit?

AM receiver designed by the same crew as te seat height adjuster, door armrests, and glove box light?

 

Yeah, same problem here. Didn't even occur to me that it was a Fit issue. I've only been listening to AM recently because of the baseball post-season. Thought maybe AM just sucked...
