Strange Noise

Sometimes I get a very strange noise on my new Fit. It only happens when the windows are rolled up, and it sounds just like a pebble hitting the window! What is this? It's driving me crazy!-

strange noise - not a rock

No this is definitely not a rock, but sounds, to me, most like a pebble sharply hitting the glass. At first I thought it could be expansion and contraction. It has happened when cold outside and warm inside, as well as hot outside with the AC on. Could it be some electronic click for the airbags? It occurs after the automatic locking of the doors, but usually within the first 10 miles.
