This one is for everyone who already has their Fit. How long did you wait between ordering and picking up?

(I'm not sure if they've been taking orders for 12 weeks yet, but I included it just in case...or for people who might want to answer this later on).

wekk it;s here just waiting to pick it up on saturday...ordered on may 3rd...so that makes me 6 weeks haha

 

It's nice to see that actually quite a few people receive theirs pretty quickly. Too bad it's not working that way for everyone! The "not knowing" stinks. Wishing smooth sailling for those ships from Japan!

 

It was I think exactly 10 days with my second dealership, but over all I was itching for 5 weeks to get mine.

 

Hmmm...maybe 12 weeks will not be enough afterall!

 

I got lucky, saw one in a dealership Apr. 22, had to have one so I searched and got mine Apr. 28. Didn't order, just got lucky fighting everybody else to be first in line. While the deal was being signed there were 4 other people wanting it.

 

i never ordered mine, it arrived at our dealership on the 18th of april, i bought it on the 20th (first day of sale), enitre process took me 1 hour form start to finish.

I got my fit on the first usa shipment. It was ready on the 18 or the 20th

 

5 to 6 weeks

 

After 3 dealers I test drove a Fit on Fri. Mar.31, $500 deposit, waited 3 days for bank over weekend and drove away on Tues. April 4th.

 

wow lucky u I put 2 500 bucks to 2 different dealership

 

Would have been 6 weeks, but I said no to downpayment and drove 70 miles to another dealer where I found my white baby

 

bump...just in case some of you getting your Fits recently haven't seen this!

 

I finally get to participate in this poll myself!!! Getting my Fit tomorrow morning...went from endless wait time to only 7 weeks in the end!!!

To all those still waiting: Don't worry, Fit will happen!!! And it will be worth the wait!

 

Waited 3 days from the day I walked into the dealer to talk about the Fit and place a downpayment .

 

it would have been 4 weeks, but my first Fit arrived damaged in transit, so I had to wait another 4 weeks for a new one---which I am picking up today

I could have had one in 3 weeks from another dealer, but he wouldn't meet my sales quote from my dealer (he wanted $400 more), plus he was sleazy.

 

It was 3 weeks for me. Didn't have to put a deposit down to hold the car during that time.
