How long after putting a deposit would it take for me to get my Fit?
I just put a deposit this weekend 05/13/06, and they said the car shipped on May 9th. Has anyone had this kind of experience?

 

They shipped your car before you put a deposit???

I'm approaching the one month period (Thursday) and still nothing. I'll probably call in within the next few days asking for an update.

You can reserver a car en-route, usually. There's not so many Fit combos to order. Color x AT/MT x Sport.

 

Yep, I was looking for a Sport MT. They guy checked what they're expecting and 2 Silver ones are coming in. Said I could put a deposit, so now I just have to wait for them to call. I was hoping to have it by Memorial Day weekend.

 

I put a deposit on a Taffeta White Sport AT with beige interior on April 22nd and was told that it would be about 6 to 8 weeks for it to arrive. The following Friday I got a call from the dealer and he said that they could get me the same car, but with black interior and asked if I would be interested in that one instead, as it would be arriving in two weeks. I was fine with the interior color change, so I said that I would gladly take that one. During the wait though, I was told that the car was built on the 25th of April and it would be in sometime between the 15th and 20th, but on May 10th I had a message on my phone when I got home saying that it was in already and I picked it up the next day. Thanks to Klein Honda in Everett WA.

 

That's good to know. So I guess I'm looking at anywhere from 2 weeks to a month. Thanks for the feedback.

 

Put a deposit on mine on April 8th, and mine isnt expected to be here until the first week in June

Yup, it sure is crazy here in Cali. I almost had a blue one with HFP wheels, but they wanted $19K and it was the last Fit they had available, so they wanted me to leave it there until they received more. So I walked away from that deal.

 

it's been 3 weeks for me so far and still haven't gotten the car

 

Ordered the 1st of mai an A/T sport storm silver, dealer told me I
should get it by the middle of june... Changed my mind for a M\T
blue sport and my dealer told me that they already had one in order and
should get it by the end of mai... I called today for the VIN but they
don't have it but confirm the delivery should be before the end of
this month...

I paid a deposit on one from the dealers list of on order cars. It is a white sport auto with b/b interior. It has an estimated build date of May 18 and the salesperson said that I might have to wait until sometime in the first part of June to get it. She also told me that the VIN isn't available until the car arrives in the US. I am very anxious to get it. I have read some of the nightmare stories on this forum and hope that everything works as I expect.

Mine has a production date of 5/23 and dealer said I should get it in the middle of June. Can't wait.

 

I purchased mine on Mother's Day and is expecting to pick up the car around the 22nd.

Well, I'm keeping my fingers crossed!
