I put down a deposit the first week of May and my sales rep couldn't tell me when the car would arrive. I called yesterday and he says "end of August or early Sept". Arrrrrrrgh! Do I have to go out to Virginia to find a Fit ready to buy? They say all the Fits coming to Austin have deposits on them for the next three months!

I went to the Dealer on April 26. Told him exactly what I wanted: Black Fit Sport, MT, All weather floor mats. Gave him a refundable $200.00 security deposit. Picked up my Fit on May 20, at MSRP, and my $200.00 back. With the mats installed.

Just heard from the internet sales manager I was dealing with. It will take about two months to get in the Fit I want (silver Sport manual).
Bummer. At least I should be able to save a little more cash for a downpayment.
