Ordered early April, still no word. Drive by dealer almost daily in the hopes of catching a glims of it coming of the truck. I know this is boarder line obsessive. I need help.

i wonder what is going to happen with the FiT??? What will honda do now??? This wait crap is gonna get tiring and they might lose their FiT customers...unless its a scheme to have people get the civic

I ordered mine April 1st, still haven't seen it. My salesman hasn't been all to helpful either - stupidity really.
But what can you do... sit and wait.. It'll be here before the end of May. That's what's on the contract anyhoos.
If it's not here by next week boy is there gonna be some hell raised

I put a deposit down in early March and got my car April 20th, but the car was already on their inventory list as being in transit. I didn't special order anything - I took what they had on its way.

 

A Kalamazoo Michigan area dealer just told my friend that if he wanted a manual their next shipment window would be September!

 

I don't recall the exact date that I put down my deposit, it was mid-April.

The build date on mine was 4/7.

VIN was issued to the dealer when it was assigned to port, in Japan.

It arrived in CA over a week ago.

It has now moved by train to Alabama.

They show that it is loaded on a truck for delivery to Kentucky.

I've got four people at my dealership watching every truck that pulls up to let me know the minute it arrives!!

The dealer can track the vehicle through multiple places, including the IN network, where they can get updates at each location that it goes through.

I ordered mine the last friday of April and they said it should be soon.

I called the salesman and he said hopefully 10 days... so, im just hoping SOON!!!

the wait is getting tiresome

 

I thought they made these in the US line ?
Ordered may 6th and was told 30-60 days and since it was sold that would move it to the top of the list and redirect one in transit. Nothing about coming from japan.

When I put down a deposit Saturday, I was told it would be about 60 days.

That would put delivery around July 12.

 

You think that's bad? I threated to go down to the port of Baltimore and meet the boat as it came in! My dealer was so sick of me calling, they were going to get me a Fit just to get rid of me.

 

Thats a good way to get your Fit! Dealers can't stand customers who constantly call them, since you are essentially preventing them from making another sale

 

My dealer called me at work as soon as the truck pulled up with my car on it. If I knew exactly when it would be there, I probably would have taken off work to be there.

 

Ordered (put down deposite) on May 10.

Expected to arrive late June. :\

I have a deposit on one also, a Sport A/T. It was supposed to have been built 04/25 and the dealer has the VIN number now but no one seems to be able to tell me when it will arrive.

How long does it take for the cargo ship to cross the Pacific?

Does anyone know if they unload them on the West Coast and ship by rail or will it come straight to the Port of Houston?

I saw a build date of 04/25 in a post above and they already got theirs so hopefully mine will be in soon. I'm ready to get my deposit back...........

 

I just talked with a dealer in Sacramento, CA and they say right now the order time is about three weeks for the Sport and four weeks for the base version. The reason is simple: the majority of Fits sold in the USA will be the Sport model.

 

Hopefully we can all get them soon and start driving them. I've only seen one on the street here. It was out in Pasadena. Blue, Sport Model.
